About Us
Founded in 2007, Bishop Dennis Ng Victory Ministries Foundation Limited is a charitable organisation with tax exemption status under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap. 112) in Hong Kong. Since 2021, Bishop Dennis Ng Victory Ministries Foundation Limited has been granted special consultative status with the United Nations by the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Special Consultative Status with the United Nations is granted to Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) that have an interest and expertise in certain areas of the UN Economic and Social Council's activities. By granting the status, United Nations recognise internationally important NGOs. It is therefore an important symbol of the international recognition of NGOs, a status of high standing and an important means for NGOs to participate in the affairs of the United Nations and international affairs.

Our Vision
The Institute of International Harmony and Sustainable Development was established by Bishop Dennis Ng Victory Ministries Foundation in Hong Kong to:
1. Gather community leaders and academic thought leaders from various countries;
2. Collaborate with scholars and academic institutions worldwide for policy research in addressing development gaps and improving quality of life; and
3. Develop the scholars network to help young people in Asia, including Greater Bay Area and other cities (for example Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Southeast Asian cities) to develop career opportunities and encourage academic ambition.

The Institute launches research and community development for local development, social planning, empowering the grassroots communities to localize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) namely “leaving no one behind”.

Further, the Institute also promotes and provides quality education and professional training under the principles of mutual respect, mutual support and mutual learning so as to promote the standards of professional educators, social workers, community leaders and social service providers.

Our Story
Bishop Prof. Dr Dennis Ng met Datuk Dr Denison Jayasooria in Andrew F. Walls Centre for the Study of African and Asian Christianity in Liverpool, the United Kingdom. Datuk Dr Jayasooria is also the classmate of Professor Daniel Jeyaraj, the co-workers of Professor Ng in Andrew F. Walls Centre, during Professor Jeyaraj’s early studies in theological seminary. Datuk Dr Jayasooria is the Principal Research Fellow at the Institute of Ethnic Studies (KITA), National University of Malaysia (UKM). He is also the Co-chair of the Malaysian CSO-SDG Alliance which is a member of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of United Nations. He also took part in the action research project of neighbourhood approach funded by the Department of National Unity and Integration of Office of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, and delivered a public lecture on the theme "Public Advocacy: Of Ideas and Practice in Malaysia" at the conference hall in UKM. The public lecture was well-received among scholars.

While having lunch with Professor Ng, Datuk Dr Jayasooria mentioned about his service to Sri Lankan. Professor Ng was touched by his work on striving harmonious relationship in the international level. After Professor Ng returning to Hong Kong, the Institute of International Harmonious and Sustainable Development (IISHD) of Bishop Dennis Ng Victory Ministries Foundation has launched the international harmony cultural ministry project to research and develop a network of scholars around the world and to serve young people in Asia. From 2019 to 2022, the Pilot Project on the International Youth Ambassador Program was launched to serve young people by establishing the scholars network, holding international conferences, and providing frontline youth services.
